Professional Experience
With over three years of dedicated practice in intellectual property law and more than a decade of prior experience as an electrical engineer, Du brings a unique combination of technical and legal expertise to his clients. Before entering legal practice, he spent 12 years at State Grid Corporation of China, a Fortune 500 company, where he worked on core technologies in power systems and energy management. This technical foundation enables him to efficiently translate complex innovations into strong IP protection strategies.
Since joining Suhao Law Firm, Du has handled more than 500 patent applications, achieving a grant rate above 90% for invention patents. He has also represented clients in over 50 patent infringement disputes, successfully invalidating more than 20 competitor patents in core technology areas. His practice focuses on patent prosecution, infringement analysis, invalidation proceedings, and IP advisory for technology-driven industries such as new energy, software, and consumer electronics.
